The main research field is focusing on functional materials chemistry, directional design and synthesis of metal organic framework materials.
During the Ph. D, my works engaged in the design, synthesis and characterization of inorganic - organic hybrid functional materials, and regarded a lot of research work, which using O polydentate ligand and main group metals or transition metals to build a large number of novel MOFs, and discussing the influence of various synthesis factors on the structure composition and properties of MOFs.
At present, we have focused our study on the influence of the metal ions, organic ligands and secondary ligands on the building blocks and structures of MOFs by the hydrothermal reaction. New coordination compounds have been synthesized by using novel organic ligands and metal ions. The study on synthetic conditions and rules for these new compounds, topological analyses, and the exploration of relationships between structures and properties for these new compounds are also carried out. These compounds have been structurally characterized by elemental analyses, IR, XRPD, TG and single crystal X-ray diffractions. In addition, the thermal stabilities, fluorescent activity, photovoltage transients, adsorption and ion-exchange of these compounds have been studied.
